When people come
Rarely for predictions. Mostly for one of these:
- You have already decided, and you want to hear yourself say it to someone who isn’t in it.
- You keep circling the same question and the loop has stopped producing anything new.
- Something ended and you are working out which part was yours.
- You are choosing between two things that are both fine, which is harder than choosing between good and bad.
- Nothing is wrong, and you want to look at the year anyway.
If none of those are true, a reading will still be interesting. It just won't be urgent — and I would rather you came when it is.

I've been offered a job that's better on paper. My current one is fine. I keep waiting to feel certain and I don't. Do I go?

Two of Swords. A decision held in balance on purpose. Not because the evidence is equal, but because putting one blade down means admitting which one you already prefer. You said you keep waiting to feel certain. Certainty isn't what is missing. Permission is.
Seven of Pentacles, reversed. Upright, it is the pause to look at what you have grown. Reversed, it is the suspicion that you have been tending something that stopped growing a while ago. Note that you called your current job fine. Fine is the word people use for things they have stopped measuring.
The Chariot. Movement — and specifically movement held together by forces pulling opposite ways. It does not say the new job is the right one. It says going is survivable, and that you are the one steering. Those forces never resolve. You drive with them. That is the ordinary condition, not a warning.
What I'd say on the phone
Nothing here tells you the offer is better. What the spread keeps returning to is that you are treating a preference you already have as a fact you have not found yet. The question isn't do I go. It is what would I have to admit in order to say yes out loud.
